We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Services Manager to oversee and develop our social care services across the Edinburgh and West Lothian regions. This is a permanent, full-time role, offering a competitive annual salary of £36,050, with the opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of individuals within a dynamic and essential sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the planning, design, and expansion of existing and new services.
  • Provide effective line management and formal supervision to Team Facilitators, fostering the development of autonomous support teams.
  • Oversee the administration of Individual Service Funds (ISF) and ensure robust financial management.
  • Conduct service quality monitoring through audits and Quality Assurance systems, ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards.
  • Serve as a primary liaison for local authorities, health services, and families, representing the organisation at external forums.
  • Champion safe working practices and manage staff sickness and absence with efficiency and care.
  • Coordinate and participate in local on-call duties as required.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • A relevant management qualification or equivalent, suitable for SSSC and Care Inspectorate registration.
