The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced professionals who can manage a diverse and active caseload. This role offers the chance to work across the full spectrum of statutory children's services, ensuring no two days are the same.

Key Areas of Practice:

  • Child Protection: Conducting risk assessments and implementing robust safety plans for children at risk.
  • Looked After at Home: Supporting children and families where the child remains at home under a Supervision Requirement, focusing on family preservation and positive outcomes.
  • Permanence: Driving long-term planning for children who require stable, alternative care arrangements.

What We Are Looking For

  • Availability: Due to the demands of the current service, we require full-time hours only. We are currently unable to accommodate part-time or flexible working patterns for these specific vacancies.
  • Immediacy: We are looking for practitioners who can start as soon as possible to provide vital support to the team.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a statutory Children and Families setting is essential.

Requirements

  • Degree in Social Work (or equivalent).
  • SSSC Registration (Active and in good standing).
  • PVG Membership (Children's workforce).
  • Strong report-writing skills and experience within the Children's Hearing system.
