Randstad has an opportunity available for an Administrative Support Assistant to join the team at Belfast Metropolitan College. The ideal candidate will foster a person-centred approach to supported employment, providing customised and high-quality administrative assistance to an individual working as a Campus Administrator to ensure they achieve required long-term sustainability in their role.

Requirements
- GCSE Maths and English, Grade C and above or equivalent (must be able to provide evidence)
- At least one year's experience working in an administrative setting
- Experience of providing person centred support to an individual(s) e.g. with an individual with a visual disability
- Awareness of software to assist visually impaired
- Discreet and able to maintain confidentiality
- Flexible approach with a focus on service and performance
- Available for an immediate start
- Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting / compliance checks including an Enhanced Access NI check due to the nature of this work, this may include a Barred List check for both Children & Vulnerable Adults (depending on the role)
Responsibilities
- Provide the individual with support in their place of work to ensure they achieve required job performance
- Assist with a range of administrative tasks, telephone duties, reception and the enrolment process
- Support the individual with processing payments and monitoring or recording information
- Ensure the support service promotes empowerment and independence, keeping the individual at the centre of their support
- Develop and maintain professional working relationships with service users and work colleagues
