Job Role : Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse/ Crisis Nurse

Location: Sunderland

Department: 111 Crisis Team

Job Summary

Join our dynamic team and make a tangible difference in the lives of others. As a Band 6 Crisis Practitioner, you'll provide immediate, life-changing support to individuals facing challenging circumstances. You will be the first point of contact, providing crucial support to individuals in moments of crisis.

Job Type: Temporary

Should be Able to work for a Minimum 36.5 hours per week across a 24-hour rotational shift pattern (days, nights, and weekends)

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months' experience: Providing community mental health services within the UK in the NHS
  • Right to work in the UK required; no visa sponsorships provided (No work restrictions on visa)

  • Essential Qualification: Mental Health Nursing Degree.
  • Valid NMC Pin Required
  • Desirable: Experience working within a 111 team.
  • DBS Check: Must be on the update service.
  • Immunizations: Up-to-date BCG, MMR, and Hep B vaccinations.

Qualification:

  • Mental Health Nursing Degree

Experience

  • Minimum 6 months' experience providing community mental health services within the UK.
  • Experience working within a 111 team (desirable)

Skills

  • Conducting comprehensive needs assessments
  • Developing and implementing person-centered care plans
  • Providing effective interventions and support
  • Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records
  • Working a flexible 24-hour shift pattern
