Support Workers / Senior Support Workers (Housing Support & Supported Living)
Locations: Fife (Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline, Cowdenbeath, Cardenden)
Positions Available: 6 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) roles (Both Full-Time and Part-Time options available)
Shift Pattern: Days and evening shifts, including required sleepovers
Base Salary: Starting at £13.45 per hour. Sleepover Rate: An additional £107.60 per sleepover worked.
About the Service
We are dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of autistic adults across Fife. Currently supporting over 60 individuals, our services are tailored to the unique needs of each person across a variety of community and residential settings. Because we provide personalized care, our environments range in complexity and staffing ratios - including dedicated 1:1 and 2:1 support structures.
Please Note: Due to the varying complexity of these services, we are explicitly seeking confident, experienced support professionals who can hit the ground running, manage challenging situations with empathy, and provide high-quality, person-centered care.
The Role
As a Support Worker in our Housing Support and Supported Living teams, you won't just be providing care - you will be enabling independence. Your day-to-day will include:
- Providing tailored emotional and practical support based on individual care plans.
- Assisting with daily living skills, housing support, and community integration.
- Working confidently within 1:1 and 2:1 staffing ratios to support individuals with diverse and sometimes complex needs.
- Maintaining a calm, structured, and encouraging environment.

- Experience is Essential: You must have a solid background in social care, specifically supporting autistic individuals or working within complex care environments.
- Confidence & Resilience: The ability to handle complex and challenging behaviors with a calm, professional, and positive approach.
