We are seeking dedicated and experienced Island Community Support Workers to provide essential care to adults within their own homes across various UK islands.

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of individuals while experiencing the distinct lifestyle of island communities.

  • Provide comprehensive home care, including personal care, medication administration, and safe moving and handling, to adults in their own homes.
  • Conduct multiple visits per day, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and contribute to care plan development.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience supporting older adults in a care setting.
  • Previous experience in home care is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in providing personal care, safe moving and handling, and medication administration.
  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
  • Full flexibility to work 5-6 days per week, across varying shift times between 07:00 and 23:00.
  • Previous experience in island or remote placements is beneficial.

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Contract Length: 3-month minimum
  • Pay Rate: £21 Umbrella / £17.91 PAYE Rolled up
  • Gender Preference: Female staff are currently preferred for specific personal care requirements, though male staff are occasionally considered.
