Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centered care, including assistance with dressing, mobility, and personal hygiene in line with individual care plans.
- Safely administer prescribed medications and monitor resident health and overall well-being.
- Utilize safe moving and handling techniques to ensure the comfort and dignity of residents.
- Maintain a secure and supportive living environment, demonstrating the ability to manage tasks effectively, including during periods of lone working.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of professional care experience supporting older adults (care home experience preferred).
- Demonstrated competency in personal care, medication administration, and safe moving and handling practices.
- Willingness and ability to relocate or travel for a 3-month contract.
- Possession of a driving license is preferred for regional travel, though not mandatory.
Note: Due to specific resident personal care requirements across select care homes, we have active requirements for female care professionals (Exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1). We also welcome applications from all qualified care professionals for broader regional placements.
