Physical Care Support Worker (Immediate Start) - West Cumbria
What we offer
- Standard Day Rate: £13.70 per hour
- Enhanced Day Rate: £15.69 per hour
- Night Shift Rate: £18.72 per hour
- Sleep-In Shifts: Available following day shifts with additional pay
- Shifts: 12-hour rotations (10:00 - 22:00 or 22:00 - 10:00)
Responsibilities
- Delivering personalized physical and personal care tailored to individual patient needs.
- Executing safe manual handling techniques to support mobility.
- Managing and overseeing PEG feeding protocols with precision.
- Ensuring the prompt and accurate administration of medications.
Qualifications
- Practical experience with PEG feeds, manual handling, and medication administration is required.
- Willingness and ability to work consistent 12-hour day or night shift patterns.
- Due to the rural nature of the shift locations and anti-social hours, the ability to drive is essential.
- Occupational Requirement: We are seeking a female candidate for this position. This is a genuine occupational requirement permitted under Section 9, Part 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
