About the Role:
Our client, a leading global medical device organization, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Commercial Support Lead to join their Electrophysiology (EP) division. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the commercial team, internal stakeholders, and healthcare procurement customers. Your primary focus will be coordinating end-to-end tender and framework submissions from pre-tender stages through to award. You will also oversee customer catalogs, range extensions, data compliance, and pricing integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tender & Framework Excellence: Own the tender process by collating, reviewing, and distributing critical documentation to stakeholders while ensuring strict deadlines and absolute data accuracy are met.
- NHS Partnership Support: Collaborate closely with the NHS Supply Chain Partnership Manager, providing data-driven support to foster a smooth, collaborative relationship.
- Catalog Management: Lead national catalog updates and range extensions to ensure medical devices are seamlessly accessible to healthcare providers.
- Procurement Liaison: Connect directly with hospital and customer procurement departments to expeditiously investigate and resolve any pricing discrepancies.
- Database & Data Integrity: Maintain an accurate, fully auditable Tender & Quote database by electronically archiving all communications, submissions, and contract awards.
- Process Improvement & Onboarding: Maintain up-to-date commercial operations training materials and onboard new team members to ensure alignment with commercial 'best practices' and quality standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: CIPS Level 3+, a relevant Bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional commercial experience.
- Systems Expertise: Advanced SAP user experience is essential for this position, alongside proficiency in managing shared Microsoft Outlook inboxes.
- Technical Skills: Strong competencies in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and stakeholder reporting.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience working within NHS procurement, pricing frameworks, and medical device compliance structures is highly desirable.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional time management, organizational clarity, and the ability to confidently communicate data and processes to stakeholders at all management levels.
