Location: Randox Science Park, 30 Randalstown Road, Antrim, BT41 4FL
Contract Offered: Full-time, permanent.
Working Hours / Shifts: 7.00am-5.40pm, Monday to Thursday.
What does this role involve?
The main responsibility of the role is to manufacture, assemble and test analyzer machines, electro-mechanical modules, cables and electrical kits for engineering products and projects.
- Printed circuit board assembly and manufacture of cable assemblies and electrical kits
- Providing feedback on possible issues.
- Use of software to verify correct manufacture and operation of PCBs and electrical kits
- Identifying and implementing ways of improving the efficiency of the process.
- Full training to IPC standards will be provided to successful applicants.
- Follow manufacturing procedures and production assembly drawings
- Assist in trouble shooting technical problems that arise in the manufacturing process
- Measurement and inspection of incoming goods
Who can apply?
- Have a recognized qualification in either an electrical or electronics discipline
- Have 2 years experience in either an electro-mechanical assembly or light engineering manufacture
- Excellent organisational skills
- Basic understanding of standard software applications (Word, Excel etc.)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Previous experience in PCB assemblies
- Have a hands-on approach and practical engineering skills
- Experience in the use of hand crimping tools
