Due to the increased recognition of the importance of drug and alcohol testing in the workplace and Randox Testing Services continued success, we are seeking to expand our collection team with the addition of a highly motivated and ambitious individual.
Collection Network Officer – (Job Ref: 25N/CNOR)
Randox Testing Services are specialists in the drug and alcohol testing industry. Working to strict procedures governed by our ISO17025 accreditation, the team at Randox Testing Services work closely with customers, health and safety and human resources departments to maintain the health and wellbeing of their employees and the wider public they work with.
Location: 34 Diamond Road, Crumlin, BT29 4QX. Travel throughout the island of Ireland for collections.
Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 08.40 to 17.20. With additional on call requirements, including evenings and weekends.
Job Description
This role is responsible for collections across the island of Ireland as well as supporting the Collection Officer Manager / Trainer with administrative and training tasks. This is a varied role that will include the below duties:
- To work as part of the RTS Collection Network Team for the collection and processing of samples for drugs of abuse screening as part of a routine or on call testing service
- Be available to work outside core business hours and travel to any location across the island of Ireland in response to a testing need
- To support the RTS Collection Officer Manager / Trainer in the training and performance monitoring of Collection Officers throughout the island of Ireland, or elsewhere, as necessary
- To support the RTS Collection Officer Manager / Trainer in administrative duties such as, but not limited to, processing the receipt of Collection Officer invoices.
- To support the RTS Customer Trainer in the provision of customer training presentation at locations throughout the island of Ireland, or elsewhere, as necessary.
- Any other tasks or projects assigned by Management
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Knowledge of the Chain of Custody / maintenance of evidence continuity
- Possess GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grades A-C)
- Competent in the use of Microsoft packages including excel, outlook and word.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Hold a full UK driving licence with a willingness to travel throughout the UK, ROI and overseas as necessary.
- Flexibility to work an on-call rota.
- Experience within a training environment
- A working knowledge of health and safety requirements
