Location: Randox Science Park, (30 Randalstown Road, Antrim, BT41 4LF).
Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week, 4x 10-hour shifts 7.00am 5.40pm and 9am 7.40pm. Occasional later shifts may also be required.
What does this role involve?
This role is responsible for the daily supervision of the manual dispense team, ensuring that all components are processed in accordance with work orders and standard operating procedures. This is an extremely varied role that will require you to develop a varied skillset, including:
- Ensuring that material is dispensed in accordance with process specifications and to the daily schedule, whilst ensuring all output targets are met.
- Leading the team and ensuring staff are operating efficiently and following all departmental and company policies.
- Operation of various laboratory equipment and machinery.
- Ensuring the laboratory environment is always clean, organised and audit ready.
- Use of Sage stock control system to order planned work, liaising with other manufacturing departments.
- Monitor and review staff productivity and output and ensure all staff are working efficiently and to company standards.
- Report daily progress to the supervisor and highlight any issues immediately.
- Ensure all records are completed correctly and to ISO accreditation standards.

- GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English language.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Working knowledge and experience of production schedules.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
- Working knowledge of quality systems.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of health and safety, including COSHH.
- Previous experience in a laboratory environment.
- Full UK driving licence.
