The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 Β£ per year.
Randox Laboratories require an experienced Painter to conduct the maintenance and upkeep of Randox sites in all aspects of painting and decorating, showing a keen eye for detail. This role will also require travel to new sites in GB and Ireland for painting as part of shop fitouts. Travel could be one week in three.
Shift Pattern: Monday β Friday, 8:40am β 17.20pm. 40 hours per week minimum.
The successful candidate will collaborate with a team in ensuring all relevant works are conducted in a professional and timely manner.
The Role:
- Working with internal departments to ensure they complete the work according to the requirements.
- Measuring the work area to calculate the time and materials required to complete the project.
- Preparing the surrounding area, including covering fixtures and furniture to prevent messes.
- Preparing painting surfaces, including removing old paint, filling holes and cracks and washing walls, choosing the tools to complete the job.
- Mixing and matching paints and colours to meet the texture and look required for the project.
- Applying paint, varnishing and other finishes, hanging wallpapers, and other decorative products.
- Cleaning up painting tools and supplies, replacing fixtures and rearranging furniture after completing the project.
- Working with other construction professionals such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers when necessary.

- Flexibility on hours as night shifts may be required on occasion.

- Ability to do paperwork for risk assessments.
- Flexible to help out in other roles as required while on site.
