Randox Health is at the forefront of clinical diagnostics. We are looking for Phlebotomists to work in our clinic located in the John Lewis store in Bluewater Shopping Centre, Dartford.
Location: John Lewis Level, 1 Bluewater Pkwy, Dartford, Greenhithe DA9 9SA
Contract & Working Hours: Full‑time, fixed‑term for 1 year. 40 hours per week. Monday to Saturday 9.40am – 6.20pm, Sunday 10.30am – 5.00pm. Working every other weekend.
Right to Work, Vaccination & Checks: Applicants must have legal right to work in the UK for a minimum of 12 months from the application date. Must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or be able to receive it. Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver an excellent patient experience from clinic entry to collection.
- Take blood, urine and personal health measurements for both private and corporate clients.
- Enter data accurately into the Patient Information System (PIS) and upload all relevant documentation.
- Communicate sensitively to ensure client understanding and consent.
- Represent Randox Health professionally at off‑site events and appointments.
- Engage in upselling and cross‑selling at the private health clinic.
- Proactively drive sales and exceed targets.
- Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately.
- Demonstrate high IT literacy to manage various software systems and daily tasks.
- Perform general housekeeping duties and uphold clinic cleanliness.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous phlebotomy experience and certificate or equivalent training.
- Confidence using IT programmes.
- Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Flexibility to work from off‑site locations at least once per month.
- Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
Desirable:
- Experience in a private healthcare setting.
- Experience in customer service.
- 2 years experience in phlebotomy.
- Sales / Retail experience.
