Working Hours: Alternating between Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday. Start and finish times are 7:40 am to 4:20 pm Monday and Saturday, 6:40 am to 3:20 pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and 10:20 am to 7 pm on Thursday.

Right to Work Requirement: This role requires candidates to have the legal right to work in the UK for a minimum of 12 months from the application date. It ensures completion of our 9‑month probationary period and allows for any potential sponsorship decisions to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not offered at the point of hire.

Health and Safety: Vaccinated against Hepatitis B or able to receive the vaccine after a successful interview stage. An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check is required in line with Care Quality Commission guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS).
  • Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent.
  • Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation.
  • Represent the company professionally at offsite events and appointments.
  • Engage in upselling and cross‑selling at our private health clinic.
  • Proactively drive sales and exceed targets.
  • Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately.
  • Demonstrate high IT literacy to manage various software systems and daily tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Previous phlebotomy experience and a phlebotomy certificate or equivalent training.
  • Confident use of IT programmes.
  • Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business.
  • Flexibility to work from off‑site locations at least once per month.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Current right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a private healthcare setting.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in phlebotomy.
  • Sales / Retail experience.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
