Phlebotomist role within our clinic in Kingston. The position includes rotations across several clinic locations within Cluster 2 (Kingston, Chiswick, Richmond, Fulham, Wimbledon).
The Randox Health team focuses on preventive healthcare by measuring hundreds of health biomarkers to predict future health concerns and identify early signs of illness.
Main Location: Unit G10, Bentall Centre, Wood Street, Kingston upon Thames, London, England, KT1 1TP.
Contract Offered: Full‑time, permanent.
Working Hours / Shifts: 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Start and finish times are:
- 9:10 am to 6:20 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday;
- 9:10 am to 9:20 pm Thursday;
- 8:40 am to 7:20 pm Saturday;
- 10:40 am to 6:20 pm Sunday.
The clinic operates 7 days a week, so you will be expected to work your contracted hours across the week, Saturday to Friday. Rotas are provided in advance and may change to meet operational needs.
Vaccination Requirement: As you may be in contact with live blood samples, you must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or be able to obtain vaccination following a successful interview stage.
Disclosure and Barring Service Check: In line with Care Quality Commission guidelines, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
Right to Work Requirement: Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK for a minimum of 12 months from the application date. We cannot offer visa sponsorship at the point of hire.
Phlebotomist Role Involvement: This role ensures customers have an excellent experience from the moment they enter our clinic, taking blood samples from both private and corporate clients. Responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS).
- Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent.
- Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation.
- Represent the company professionally at off‑site events and appointments.
- Engage in upselling and cross‑selling at our private health clinic.
- Proactively drive sales and exceed targets.
- Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately.
- Demonstrate high IT literacy to manage various software systems and daily tasks.
Previous phlebotomy experience and certificate or equivalent training. Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends. Flexibility to work from off‑site locations at least once a month. Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship. Experience in a private healthcare setting. Experience in customer service. Two years experience in phlebotomy. Valid UK driving licence.
