Phlebotomist responsibilities and qualifications:
- Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS).
- Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent.
- Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation.
- Represent the company professionally at off-site events and appointments.
- Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic.
- Proactively drive sales and exceed targets.
- Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately.
- Demonstrate high IT literacy in order to manage various software systems and daily tasks.
- Previous Phlebotomy experience and certificate or equivalent training.
- Flexibility with working hours, as required by the business inclusive of evenings and weekends.
- Flexibility to work from off-site locations at least once per month.
- Currently have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Experience in a private healthcare setting.
- Experience in customer service.
- 2 years experience in Phlebotomy.
Contract Offered: Full-time, permanent.
Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week, 7:40 am to 4:20 pm Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday and 7:40 am-4:20 pm or 10:20 am-7:00 pm on Wednesday & Thursday. Alternating between Monday to Friday (week 1) and Tuesday to Saturday (week 2).
For this position, as you may be in contact with live blood samples, you must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or be able to get it following a successful interview stage. In line with Care Quality Commission guidelines, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
Right to Work Requirement: This role requires candidates to have the legal right to work in the UK for a minimum of 12 months from the application date. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship at the point of hire.
