Location: within a Holland & Barrett store in Nottingham. The exact location is TBC.
Contract Offered: Full-time, permanent
Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week, across 5 days, including some weekends.
Requirements:
- Must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or able to get it following a successful interview.
- In line with Care Quality Commission guidelines, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
What does the Phlebotomist role involve?
- Conducting client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS).
- Demonstrating sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent.
- Maintaining accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation.
- Representing the company professionally at offsite events and appointments.
- Engaging in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic.
- Proactively driving sales and exceeding targets.
- Completing company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately.
- Demonstrating high IT literacy to manage various software systems and daily tasks.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous Phlebotomy experience and certificate or equivalent training.
- Confident using IT programmes.
- Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Exemplary Customer Service Skills and Experience.
- Ability to manage existing clientele and generate new clientele.
- Valid UK driving license.
Desirable:
- Experience in a private healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages.
- Confidence and experience working at internal/external events.
- Sales / Retail experience.
