Job Summary

At Randox we are offering exciting opportunities for enthusiastic, self-motivated students to obtain a placement with an innovative and rapidly growing company. A yearlong placement offered by Randox is designed to release the potential of high-quality candidates and provide opportunities to make a difference to our business, for our customers, and the experience needed to pursue a career in one of the chosen fields.

Business Development

Driving sales and increasing brand awareness of Randox products. This is a customer-focused role requiring the ability to develop and maintain personal relationships and identify new business opportunities. Activities include market mapping, liaising with international sales teams, creating monthly sales reports, and working with marketing teams on e-shots to global customers.

Randox Health

Working with our fast-moving sales team to drive sales and increase brand awareness of Randox Health. This role requires the ability to develop and maintain strong personal relationships, identify new business avenues, with opportunities to travel.

Project and Account Support

Contributing to the successful delivery of project activities, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met efficiently. This includes coordinating project activities, regular client communication, and preparing reports. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and time management are important for project delivery and client satisfaction.

Marketing

Aiding the completion of a strategic marketing plan using multiple communication channels, including advertising, multimedia, and press releases to promote products across marketing channels.

Finance

Assisting the finance department with sales-related data analysis and reports, and with monthly financial reports and invoices. Opportunities in purchasing and logistics are available within this function.

Purchasing

Negotiating and ordering materials, including scientific products for R&D and manufacturing, maintaining inventory, and applying lean principles. Regular communication with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

Logistics

Preparing export documentation for shipments worldwide, implementing a Total Quality Management approach, and liaising with a global customer base to ensure excellent service.

The Candidate

  • Studying a Business-related degree (which includes a year in industry)
  • A strong academic record to date
  • A positive attitude with drive and work ethic to meet deadlines
  • Initiative and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
