On behalf of our private clients, we are seeking a qualified, proactive, and engaging Live-out Tutor in Chelsea to support their 5-year-old child with Maths and English and 7+ exam preparation. The ideal Tutor should have experience teaching Year 1 (preferably for top London Schools), a strong grasp of 7+ entrance exam curricular, and a talent for making lessons both structured and enjoyable.
You will collaborate with the parents to agree on clear goals, create a lesson plan, and give follow-up worksheets or tasks to keep the progress going between sessions.
Daily Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Designing and delivering tailored Maths and English lessons focused on 7+ exam skills
- Assessing child current strengths and areas for improvement, then adjusting lesson plans accordingly
- Incorporating engaging, age-appropriate activities and resources
- Communicating progress and next steps to parents in a constructive, collaborative manner
Schedule:
- 23 hours per week
- Flexible weekdays after 4:00 pm (except Wednesdays and Fridays); weekend availability is also possible
- In-person sessions in Chelsea
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience and qualifications
Unless otherwise specified, a minimum of 2 years relevant tutoring experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
