On behalf of our private client, we are seeking an experienced and qualified Night Maternity Nurse for a family in Islington. The role covers 5 nights per week over 8-10 weeks, and the successful candidate will provide professional overnight support for a newborn, including breastfeeding support for the mother. A bed in the nursery will be provided for use during the shift.
Working Hours: 12 hours (9 pm - 9 am). Days: 5 nights per week (ideally Sunday to Thursday).
Duties include:
- Providing attentive overnight care for a newborn
- Supporting the mother with breastfeeding
- Settling, feeding and soothing the baby throughout the night
- Establishing and encouraging healthy sleep routines
- Keeping the nursery clean and tidy
- Handing over to the family each morning with a clear update on the night
Salary: £30 - 40 per hour
Booking Date: 27th September 2026 until early November
Unless otherwise specified, a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
