A professional couple are seeking an experienced, proactive, and trustworthy live-out Housekeeper/cook to maintain their six-bedroom home in Arsenal. The principals both work remotely and travel frequently, so they are looking for someone who can take ownership of the household and ensure the property is maintained to a high standard both when they are at home and when they are away.
Responsibilities
- Full housekeeping and cleaning of the property
- Laundry and ironing
- Preparing healthy home-cooked meals
- Cooking for a mixed-diet household (one principal enjoys healthy, traditional European-style meals, while the other follows a vegan diet – recipes can be provided)
- Watering and caring for houseplants
- Acting as a key holder and carrying out regular property checks during the principals' travels
- Maintaining an organised & tidy home environment
Candidate Requirements
- Previous private household housekeeping experience
- Strong cleaning and laundry skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident cook, happy to prepare healthy meals
- Reliable, discreet, and able to work independently
- Trustworthy and comfortable holding house keys and managing the property in the principals' absence
Hours: 2-3 days per week, Monday to Friday. Approximately 8-12 hours per week. Flexible schedule to be agreed with the successful candidate.
Salary: £25-30 per hour dependent on experience.
Start Date: July 2026.
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
