Our private HNW clients are seeking an experienced, reliable and friendly Nanny/Cook/Housekeeper for their residence in Kensington. The family have two younger children, ages 3 and 8 years old and two pet dogs and lives in a large, four-bedroom, smart property.
Working alongside a houseman and a part-time helper, the family are seeking a flexible, trustworthy team player who has great attention to detail, has worked in a similar role before and is child and dog-friendly. The successful candidate will support all housekeeping & childcare duties while taking the lead responsibility for cooking and food management for the family. This will be healthy, family-friendly food that can be prepared and reheated as required daily.
The family would like the candidate to accompany them on 1-2 holidays a year to the USA or Europe for 2-3 weeks at a time.
Schedule: Monday to Friday and occasional weekend support planned, 40-45 hours per week; 8am to 4/5pm ideally, but times can be flexible.
Duties will include:
- Childcare, mainly in the afternoon when the children are back from school
- Preparation and cooking of family-style meals daily
- Helping with grocery shopping and keeping the household well-stocked
- Hands-on cleaning, housekeeping, laundry and ironing to a high standard
- Supporting the general upkeep and smooth running of the property
- Any other duties related to the smooth running of the household
- Occasional travel with the family abroad
Skills/experience required:
- Similar long-term experience in a similar role for a busy HNW family
- Great attention to details
- Friendly, flexible and helpful attitude
- Child and dog friendly
- Current DBS or willing to have one
- Driver preferred but not a must
- Able to travel abroad 1-2 times per year, ideally
Start: ASAP
Salary: £50-55,000 gross per year DOE
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
