Our private clients are seeking an experienced Live-out Housekeeper / Cook to support their family home in Islington. This is a newly created role combining hands-on housekeeping with confident family cooking for a busy household of two adults and two young children. The family live in a modern 3-bedroom apartment with a small roof terrace and are looking for a proactive, organised candidate who enjoys both cooking and housekeeping and can become a valued long-term member of the household.
Working days & hours: Monday – Friday, approximately 35 hours per week. Occasional weekend flexibility will be required.
Duties will include:
- Full housekeeping and cleaning to a high standard
- Laundry and ironing
- Grocery shopping and household provisioning
- Preparing fresh, healthy family-style meals twice daily
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- General organisation and upkeep of the home
- Travel with the family to Spain residence
The ideal candidate will be: An experienced Housekeeper / Cook with previous experience working within a private family home. They will be confident preparing fresh, healthy family-style meals and equally happy undertaking hands-on housekeeping duties. Candidates should be organised, proactive, discreet and able to manage their workload independently whilst fitting naturally into a busy family environment. The family travel to Spain periodically throughout the year and would ideally like the successful candidate to accompany them on some trips, although not every visit.
Start date: ASAP
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 gross per annum DOE. Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
