On behalf of our private, returning client, we are looking for a warm, dependable, and capable Live-in Nanny/Housekeeper to join a lovely family home. This is a busy, varied role that covers housekeeping, cooking, light PA work, and a hands-on morning routine with a young child.
The family have a 6.5-year-old child who travels to school by bus each day, and a 10-year-old child who is away during the week. Their weekend nanny is already in place from Thursday evening, so this role covers Monday to Thursday only. A driving licence would be ideal for the role.
Working hours / schedule: Monday 9:00am through to Thursday 7:30pm. The core working hours will mainly be from 6:30am to 5:00pm. However, the family is looking for someone flexible and happy to assist with occasional babysitting when required, as part of the overall package.
Childcare duties:
- Helping the daughter get ready for school, including doing her hair
- Getting her out the door and to the bus on time
- Babysitting on evenings
Housekeeping duties include:
- Cleaning a 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom family home to a high standard
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and keeping all rooms looking their best
- Laundry (No ironing required)
- General tidying and keeping the home well-presented throughout the day
Cooking duties include:
- Cooking healthy family dinners before leaving at 5:00pm
- Light food preparation and keeping the kitchen clean and organised
PA and household duties include:
- Running errands as needed
- Keeping an eye on household supplies and restocking when needed
- Helping with day-to-day household admin and any other ad hoc requests
- Managing dry cleaning collection and delivery
- Package acceptance within certain windows
- Managing house repairs with workman
The ideal candidate will be:
- Warm, reliable, and at ease in a busy family home
- Experienced in housekeeping, cooking, and supporting families
- Organised and confident managing a varied day on their own
- A driver
- Professional and discreet at all times
Salary: £45 to £55k gross per year (Negotiable for the right candidate)
Start date: July 2026 (trial as soon as possible)
