Randolph Hill is looking for an outstanding person to join us as a Care Assistant at Fidra House in North Berwick. Permanent full-time, part-time, or bank posts are available.
***Market Leading Rates of Pay – from £13.77 to £19.09 per hour, with overtime at time plus 33% and career development potential***

Main responsibilities
- Promote the highest standards of care within the nursing home
- Uphold residents\’ rights to privacy, dignity, and choice
- Provide a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors
- Adhere to SSSC Code of Conduct
- Set a good example in dress, manner, hygiene, and behaviour
- Report injuries, diseases, or dangerous practices
- Maintain correctly written records as required by the company and statutory bodies
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Minimum of 1 year care experience in elderly care settings, including nursing homes, hospitals, or community care. Student nurses are encouraged to apply.
- We may consider candidates without experience if they have strong reasons for working in care and the right skill set.
- For Principal Carer post, SVQ 3 and team leadership experience are essential.
- Experience working with elderly people and knowledge of dementia and clinical support in this area.
- Good time management, workload prioritisation, problem-solving skills, and effective management of diverse situations.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, including report writing.
