Randolph Hill is looking for an outstanding person to join us as a Care Assistant at either Ashley Court in Morningside or Blenham House in Sighthill. Permanent full-time, part-time, or bank posts are available.
Market Leading Rates of Pay – from £13.77 to £19.09 per hour, with overtime at time plus 33% and career development potential.

Main Responsibilities:
- To promote the highest standards of care within the nursing home
- To uphold residents\’ rights to privacy, dignity, and choice
- To provide a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors
- To adhere to SSSC Code of Conduct
- To set a good example in dress, manner, hygiene, and behaviour
- To report injuries, diseases, or dangerous practices
- To maintain accurate records as required by the company and statutory bodies
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year\’s care experience in an elderly care setting or relevant student nursing experience
- We may consider candidates without experience depending on reasons for seeking work in care and skill mix
- For Principal Carer, SVQ 3 and team leadership experience are essential
- Experience working with elderly people and knowledge of dementia and clinical support
- Good time management and prioritisation skills
- Problem-solving ability and effective management of diverse situations
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
