Randall Surveys LLP is a multi-disciplinary land and hydrographic survey company covering the whole of the UK.
Predominantly our work is in London and East Anglia with occasional surveys throughout the UK. Certain projects will require staying away from home for short periods.
This is a full time post, and will involve working on site carrying out surveys for our extensive client base across the UK, under the supervision of the lead surveyor.The successful applicant will receive on the job training, and will be involved in a wide variety of survey tasks. These will include helping setup and operate total stations, GPS receivers, ground probing radar and laser scanners. Our hydrographic surveys involve crewing and operating our survey boats equipped with multibeam echo sounders. This position will appeal to someone who enjoys working out in the open air and is an ideal career opportunity for the successful candidate.
You will:
- Have GCSE Grades A-C in English and Mathematics – advantageous but not essential
- Have good communication skills both written and verbal
- Be highly enthusiastic, confident and keen to learn
- Be able to work well within a team
- Be IT literate
- Hold a full UK Drivers Licence
- Reside within commuting distance of Bures
- Right to work in the UK
- Office hours 8.15am to 4.45pm (Monday - Friday)
- Survey hours are flexible to suit site location.
