We are excited to announce that we have a vacancy available for an experienced and confident Deputy Manager to assist the Management team with the day-to-day running of this unique, well-regarded setting on the award-winning Mead Open Farm. This role will involve overseeing our Mini Farmers room (52 place), in charge of 8-10 staff. It will be 50/50 between being office and room based, whilst assisting and stepping up to help the senior management team during times of management annual leave.

Experience / Qualifications required:

  • A recognised Early Years qualification level 3 or above
  • A minimum of 2 years experience working with children in a Day Nursery setting
  • Experience in a leadership role in a large nursery setting
  • Previous team leading experience
  • A real passion for working with children
  • A strong command of the English language
  • Flexibility and punctuality
