Rate of pay: Up to £25 per hour (Time & a half overtime).

Location: Workshop is based in Luton (sites in London & surrounding areas).

Responsibilities

  • Experienced in all types of fabrication, fitting, and welding to a high standard with an emphasis on architectural steelwork.
  • Ability to read from engineering drawings and work on your own initiative in a workshop environment and on customer premises.
  • Good communication skills, positive attitude and extreme flexibility in approach to all aspects of engineering and working hours.
  • Supervisory/leadership skills would be a distinct advantage but not essential, provided skills are to a high standard.
  • Experience fabricating and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Valid CSCS card, SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred but not essential).

Qualifications

  • Industry knowledge required; reading and interpreting engineering drawings essential.
