Global Logistics Division is looking to recruit an LGV2 driver to join our Plant and Fleet team, working on the Lower Themes crossing contract for one of our Tier 1 clients. We aim to attract experienced operators to join an existing team to operate a new fleet of road sweepers for the project. This position is Monday to Friday, 50 hours per week, with potential weekend work when required.
Project Overview
The Lower Themes crossing project involves constructing a new road through a tunnel under the Themes, connecting Essex and Kent.
Responsibilities
- Operate Road Sweepers in accordance with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Manage health and safety protocols on site.
- Ensure safe operation of plant machinery.
- Perform daily vehicle and safety checks.
Requirements
- Experience operating LGV2 vehicles in a similar environment.
- Experience operating Road Sweepers.
