Here at Global Logistics Staff Ltd, we pride ourselves on providing the very best service to our clients and we seek to recruit experienced LGV Class 2 backshift drivers to support our clients business needs. We are currently recruiting additional drivers for ongoing contracts.
Job Role Information
Position: LGV Class 2 Drivers
Start Times: Around 1200pm Noon
Location: Cambuslang, Glasgow
Duration: Temporary
Pay Rate: £16.83 per hour, £25.25 per hour overtime
Pay Model: PAYE
This is an exciting ongoing contract role, delivering beers, wines and spirits, and becoming an integral member of the team.
Duties
- Delivery of beers, wines & spirits to the hospitality sector across central belt, Scotland.
- Accompanied with a drivers mate, you need to be able to work well with others.
- Complete daily pre and post vehicle checks.
- Keep in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing clients expectations.
- Comply with WTD, drivers hours & rest periods.
Experience
- Previous experience of handling kegs/delivery of alcohol to hospitality venues would be an advantage.
- Class 2 licence (minimum 6 months experience).
- Must have a valid digital tachograph card & CPC qualification card.
- Have no more than 6 penalty points on licence.
- No DDs or DRs on licence.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- All applicants will be subject to passing a driving assessment. You will also undergo a full site induction.
