Position: LGV 2 Driver
We are currently recruiting an LGV 2 Driver for our client in the Perth area, Scotland, who specializes in delivering products within the beer industry, supporting the timely and professional delivery of products to events, trade customers, and company-owned taprooms across the UK.
This is a dayshift position working Monday to Friday.
Key Duties
- Deliver keg and cased goods to multiple customers across Scotland
- Use and maintain delivery equipment
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and discrepancies
- Operate delivery vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and regulations
- Follow company policies and health and safety guidelines
- Use manual handling equipment in accordance with procedures
- Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle regularly (fuel, oil, etc.)
- Keep the vehicle clean and professionally presented
- Build positive relationships with customers, providing excellent service and acting as a brand ambassador
- Follow pre-planned routes accurately
- Communicate with management regarding delivery updates, routes, or schedules
- Report any obstructions or issues affecting delivery safety and timeliness
Qualifications & Education Requirements
- LGV 2 Licence
- Driver CPC and valid Digital Tachograph card
- Good knowledge of UK road networks and delivery procedures
- Experience in dray work
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
