An established global platform operating at the intersection of institutional investing, thought leadership, and investor engagement is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support the growth of its private markets client base.

This is a front-office, high-activity role within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment, offering exposure to leading private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and real assets managers across EMEA and globally.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for identifying and engaging new private markets GP prospects, building pipeline, and creating qualified opportunities for senior sales colleagues. This role is critical to driving growth across memberships, conference sponsorship, and strategic content-led solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect new private markets GPs across EMEA and global markets
  • Execute high-volume, targeted outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn) to generate new business opportunities
  • Qualify leads and convert them into meetings and pipeline for senior sales team
  • Build and manage a structured pipeline using CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Develop a strong understanding of private markets fundraising activity and key industry players
  • Work closely with senior sales, content, and investor relations teams
  • Maintain high levels of activity, organisation, and transparency in reporting

The role requires:

  • ~1–4 years’ experience in sales, business development, or a commercial role
  • ~Exposure to financial services or private markets strongly preferred
  • ~Highly driven, resilient, and comfortable operating in a target-driven environment
  • ~Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • ~Naturally curious, proactive, and commercially minded
  • ~Experience using CRM systems and data platforms (e.g. Preqin) is advantageous
  • ~Background in B2B events, subscriptions, or financial services solutions is a plus
