Our client is seeking a Client Reporting Associate primarily responsible for leading the client reporting as well as supporting the production and maintenance of marketing materials. The role reports to the Head of Investor Relations and the Head of Sales and will be working with one other marketeer.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Leading client reporting (80% of the role):
- Monthly production / review of bespoke Hedge Fund portfolio reports
- Monthly review of the fund newsletters and reports
- Regular reviews and maintenance of consultant databases
- Maintenance of the distribution list
- Production of reporting stats on client interactions from the materials sent out
The role requires:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a reporting role in Investments (HF preferred)
- A self-starter who has a ‘can-do’ attitude, can quickly analyse internal and external requirements and focus on managing often challenging delivery expectations.
- Degree level education preferred.
- Strong financial background with relevant experience in a process driven environment.
- Working knowledge and experience of the investment industry, preferably with an understanding of Hedge Funds and/or alternative UCITS strategies.
- A strong effective communicator who is able to develop and maintain relationships with the senior management team and internal teams.
- A proactive and flexible team player with effective interpersonal skills.
- An independent thinker with a high level of integrity.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with a proven ability to prioritise efficiently.
- Strong analytical/numeracy skills and effective writing capability.
- Lateral thinker with an ability to continuously improve methods, approaches and departmental contribution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs with PowerPoint (advanced), Word (intermediate), Excel (intermediate) and Outlook as a pre-requisite, plus an aptitude for working with proprietary systems.
- Experience in introducing automation to help streamline processes is a bonus.
