Corporate Travel Executive - 12 month FTC in Leeds

A leading financial services firm is seeking to recruit a Business Travel Executive to support and enhance the operations of the Travel Office in London on a temporary basis for an initial 12-month period with the possibility of renewal.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Efficiently advise and assist travellers and travel arrangers in organizing business trips (flights, hotels, car rentals, train bookings, visas, etc.)
• Handle complex requests and multi-destination itineraries
• Oversee and coordinate front and back-office operations, including reservation management, ticket issuance, exchanges, and refunds
• Optimize costs while complying with client travel policies
• Provide personalized service and proactively offer alternative solutions in case of travel disruptions (cancellations, delays, changes)
• Professionally and effectively handle complaints and disputes with external providers

The role requires:

• At least five years’ experience in a business travel agency or corporate travel service
• Excellent knowledge of GDS Sabre, with the ability to independently manage bookings, ticket issuance, and exchanges
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping procedures, expense management, and standard corporate travel policies
• Familiarity with online booking tools (KDS preferred) is an advantage
• Proficient in using MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
• Strong customer service orientation, with excellent listening skills and responsiveness
• High level of discretion and respect for confidentiality
• Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
