Our client, a Real Estate Investment/Asset Manager & Developer, are looking to hire an Investment Analyst to assist with new acquisitions for a real estate fund targeting UK logistics real estate investments. Due to an increase in deal flow and pipeline, the team are now looking to add further resources. The role will offer an excellent opportunity to grow and to take on relatively high levels of responsibility. The role will be based in London and may require occasional travel across the UK to the subject sites and development projects.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Initial screening of investment opportunities - commercial and financial analysis
- Detailed and extensive cash flow modelling
- Drafting investment committee memos
- Analysing Data Sets
- Coordinating and managing third-party advisors
- Assisting with deal execution
- Helping to source debt finance for assets
- Maintaining up to date research of the Company
- Assisting with the drafting of monthly/quarterly investor reports
- Ad-hoc research and keeping research database up-to-date
Required Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills as demonstrated through excellence in academic qualifications
- 1 to 4 years of relevant experience (real estate, investment banking, investment)
- Strong computer and modelling skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ARGUS)
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
- Ability to work under tight deadlines independently
- Ability to manage multiple work streams/projects simultaneously
- A background in the Real Estate sector, ideally from a fund/investment banking team specialising in this sector
- A genuine interest and passion for Real Estate and the desire to progress and grow within the company.
