Over the past 20+ years, our client has grown into one of the UK’s leading privately held firms in the property investment and development sector. With a track record of delivering some of the country's most complex and high-value property transactions, they have built a diverse portfolio now valued at approximately £10 billion. This includes over 14,000 assets across 90 million square feet, supported by a robust development pipeline of more than 20,000 residential units.

Job Overview:

The list of responsibilities below is not exhaustive but includes:

o Source on and off market deals in UK market

o Evaluation and business planning of such opportunities

o Execute these transactions from cradle to grave

o Managing external advisors – agents, lawyers, building surveyors, valuers, etc

o Present deals to the Investment Committee

o Interaction with the asset management team on strategy and execution of business plans as required

o Preparation and presentation of investment reports for dissemination internally

o Contribute to the formation/implementation of investment strategies

o Take responsibility for exit strategy and execution of sales where required

o Enhance company reputation in the market

o Assist in portfolio refinancing underwrites

o Assist the New Business team with the analysis and underwrite of property assets as part of corporate acquisitions

Qualifications and Skills

o In-depth knowledge and understanding of the UK real estate market

o Strong network of agents and advisors within the market

o Track record of executing real estate transactions

o Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in Excel

o A proactive and analytical mindset

o Ability to understand and interpret data/cashflows

o Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines

o Strong communication (written & presentation) skills for effective collaboration with consultants and stakeholders

o Recently RICS qualified (no more than 3 years post qualification)

o RICS accredited undergraduate or postgraduate degree qualification 

o Client side / agency experience considered on equal merit

o Self-starter mentality with the ability to work successfully as part of a wider team
