Job Description
Over the past 20+ years, our client has grown into one of the UK’s leading privately held firms in the property investment and development sector. With a track record of delivering some of the country's most complex and high-value property transactions, they have built a diverse portfolio now valued at approximately £10 billion. This includes over 14,000 assets across 90 million square feet, supported by a robust development pipeline of more than 20,000 residential units.
Job Overview:
The list of responsibilities below is not exhaustive but includes:
o\\tSource on and off market deals in UK market
o\\tEvaluation and business planning of such opportunities
o\\tExecute these transactions from cradle to grave
o\\tManaging external advisors – agents, lawyers, building surveyors, valuers, etc
o\\tPresent deals to the Investment Committee
o\\tInteraction with the asset management team on strategy and execution of business plans as required
o\\tPreparation and presentation of investment reports for dissemination internally
o\\tContribute to the formation/implementation of investment strategies
o\\tTake responsibility for exit strategy and execution of sales where required
o\\tEnhance company reputation in the market
o\\tAssist in portfolio refinancing underwrites
o\\tAssist the New Business team with the analysis and underwrite of property assets as part of corporate acquisitions
Qualifications and Skills
o\\tIn-depth knowledge and understanding of the UK real estate market
o\\tStrong network of agents and advisors within the market
o\\tTrack record of executing real estate transactions
o\\tStrong financial modelling skills and proficiency in Excel
o\\tA proactive and analytical mindset
o\\tAbility to understand and interpret data/cashflows
o\\tExcellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines
o\\tStrong communication (written & presentation) skills for effective collaboration with consultants and stakeholders
o\\tRecently RICS qualified (no more than 3 years post qualification)
o\\tRICS accredited undergraduate or postgraduate degree qualification
o\\tClient side / agency experience considered on equal merit
o\\tSelf-starter mentality with the ability to work successfully as part of a wider team
