A fantastic opportunity to join our busy Private Wealth and Succession team. Ramsdens are an award-winning, Legal 500 recommended full-service law firm with 12 offices across Yorkshire. We are looking to recruit an experienced 5-8 year PQE Private Client Fee Earner to join our established, fast-growing York team. STEP qualification is preferable but not necessary. You will be expected to manage your own caseload, with Partner support, and hit the ground running. Your role will include:

  • Advising and drafting bespoke Will planning structures for clients.
  • Providing long-term capital tax estate planning solutions for HNW individuals, business owners, farmers, and entrepreneurs.
  • Administering complex estates, often involving trusts and third-party advisors.
  • Administration of intestate estates.
  • Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney.
  • Advising on and drafting various lifetime Trusts and trust administration.
  • Actively participating in the firm's business development and networking in York and the surrounding area.

You will be encouraged and supported to develop your career and specialise in areas of particular interest to you. You will work closely with clients and their families and third-party advisors, including accountants, financial advisors, and tax professionals.
