We are looking to recruit an experienced and ambitious Family Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join our highly regarded Private Family team.
The role can be based from our Huddersfield, Wakefield or Leeds office and offers an excellent opportunity to further develop your career within a supportive and progressive firm.
The Role
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of privately funded family law matters, with a particular focus on finance work, whilst also supporting clients across the full spectrum of private family law matters.
You will work closely with an experienced team, providing clear, practical and empathetic advice to clients during often challenging and sensitive circumstances.
About You
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with between 5-10PQE, however applications from candidates with equivalent experience and a strong background in private family law are welcomed.
To be successful in this role, you will
- Have experience across a broad range of private family law matters.
- Possess strong technical knowledge and sound commercial awareness.
- Be confident in managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate excellent client care and relationship-building skills.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be highly organised, with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Have a consistent track record of meeting billing and performance targets.
- Experience of TOLATA matters would be advantageous.
