We are seeking a caring and motivated Residential Child Care Worker to support boys aged 10-16 with SEMH needs at our Residential Academy. You will provide structured support after school, during evenings and overnight, helping pupils feel safe, settled and ready to learn. No residential experience required; experience working with children or in a caring role is essential and full training is provided.
Key Duties:
- Support pupils during evenings, overnights and mornings
- Promote positive behaviour, routines and independence
- Prepare meals, support homework and encourage activities
- Act as Key Worker for allocated pupils
- Participate in sleep-in duties (paid) and residential trips
About You:
- Experience working with or caring for children/young people
- Calm, patient and resilient approach
- Willing to complete Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification (funded)
- Driving licence required
