Radiographer (Maternity Cover) Oaklands Hospital - Salford Fixed Term Contract, Full Time - 37.5 Hours

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the imaging team at Oaklands Hospital as a general Radiographer on a fixed term contract.

The Radiography department covers Theatres and plain film.

The role

You will be part of a close-knit, innovative team delivering an exceptional diagnostic imaging service.

At the heart of patient care, you'll build relationships with all the hospital's key departments, and our consultants across many specialisms.

Whilst providing exceptional clinical care, you'll also track, process and manage images in RIS and PACS, perform audits and assist in booking in patients.

But at its heart, this role is about playing a key role in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of your patients.

Oaklands Hospital is a purpose built, modern hospital providing a wide range of surgical and medical treatments to private patients and eligible NHS patients.

Our consultants and nursing staff are highly experienced and have your care and comfort as their highest priority.

All patients have the reassurance that a doctor is resident on site and available 24 hours a day.

  • Degree or diploma in Radiography
  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

  • Demonstrated Computer Skills and RIS PACs experience
