Full time hours: 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday) - Occasional flexibility on Saturdays will be required
The Cherwell hospital is located in Banbury, Oxfordshire - a day case/Inpatient facility that provides high quality healthcare for patients with health insurance, patients who are self-funding treatment or NHS patients exercising choice through the e-referral system.
The Role
We currently have a great opportunity for an Administrator to join our team at The Cherwell Hospital.
You will be an integral part of the team who are committed to delivering the highest quality outcomes in a supported environment where you will be valued for your skills and expertise.
This is a busy role liaising with patients, consultants and all hospital departments.
We need an individual with a professional approach, excellent verbal communication skills, initiative and the ability to work within a team.
High-level duties include
- Handle all patient enquiries promptly and efficiently for a variety of clinical departments
- Provide detailed information to patient enquiries delivering excellent customer service
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with all internal departments across both Hospitals
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with consultants and their secretaries
- Supporting patients with their enquiries
- Communication via phones and emails
- What you’ll bring with you
- Proven track record of achieving targets whilst maintaining an outstanding level of customer service
- An excellent standard of computer literacy to include experience in Word & Excel
- The ability to work under pressure whilst remaining patient/ consumer focused
- Experience working in a private healthcare setting is preferred
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to make decisions and use your initiative
- A flexible and positive attitude
