MRI Radiographer
Pinehill Hospital – Hitchin
Full Time – 37.5 hours
Pinehill Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Radiographer with substantial experience in MRI and the flexibility to work across CT and X-ray modalities. The successful candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence, adaptability and a strong commitment to patient‑centred care. You will join a dynamic imaging team delivering high‑quality diagnostic services while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high‑quality MRI scans in line with clinical protocols.
- Support CT and X‑ray imaging services with training provided if required.
- Ensure patient dignity, safety and comfort at all times.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all regulatory standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold best practices in imaging.
Key Attributes
- Proven experience in MRI scanning.
- Competency or willingness to train in CT and X‑ray.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient‑focused approach with empathy and professionalism.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

What you’ll bring with you
- Diploma or degree in diagnostic Radiography
- HCPC registered
- MRI experience post qualification
- CO R IV cannulation certificate desirable
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Passion to deliver high quality diagnostic services
- Flexible to travel within the region/area
