We are currently expanding our theatre department and have exciting opportunities for General Scrub Lead Nurse/ODP to join and be part of our exciting journey of growth. Oaks Hospital has recently expanded and there are plans to develop services further.
Oaks Hospital is part of Ramsay Health Care UK, one of the leading providers of NHS and private patient services in England. Oaks Hospital is a 58 bed facility including 18 ambulatory bays, 4 laminar flow Theatres and an Endoscopy Theatre.
The role involves performing the scrub role in Consultant led surgeries that vary in complexity and specialism, focusing on Orthopaedic Surgery.
What you will bring with you as a Scrub/ODP Lead:
- Current NMC/HCPC registration
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
- A warm, considerate and empathetic character
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) – Desirable but not essential
- Minimum 4 years Ortho Scrub experience combined with people management within their role.
