The role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Radiography Assistant to join our Imaging department here at West Midlands Hospital. In this role, you will be an integral part of a team committed to delivering high-quality clinical outcomes in a supportive environment where your skills and expertise will be valued. You should have a passion for providing excellent service and a desire to develop your skills. Attention to detail, calmness, and practicality in challenging situations are essential.
What you’ll bring with you
- NVQ level 2 or 3 (advantageous)
- Experience in a hospital or care setting (essential)
- Knowledge of radiology (advantageous)
- Warm, considerate, and empathetic character
- Ability to make decisions and use initiative
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexible and positive attitude
Duties will include but are not limited to
- Chaperoning patients during imaging examinations
- Booking appointments
- Stock ordering
