The role is physically demanding and involves working with waste removal, medical gas bottle changing, handling and placing deliveries, movement of patient trolleys and beds, taking in laundry deliveries and plenty of other varied manual handling duties for which full training will be provided.
We are currently looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, computer literate person with good communication and interpersonal skills. You will have ideally worked in a similar porter position previously; however, full training will be given.

The site on which Woodthorpe Hospital now stands has provided healthcare to the people of Nottingham since 1877 and is conveniently located towards the north of Nottingham city centre, with excellent on-site parking facilities and access to public transport nearby.
