Full Time & Part Time Opportunities including Bank
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced cardiac professional to join the exceptional \’Team Duchy.\’ Following a significant investment in our cardiac catheterisation lab, including a complete refurbishment with state-of-the-art facilities and the addition of new equipment, we are expanding our services. With the addition of a new Service Manager, we invite you to be part of our journey as we continue to develop and enhance the cardiology services at Duchy Hospital.
The cardiology service currently provides a range of outpatient clinics, diagnostic testing for both in-patients and outpatients, and our lab offers a range of procedures including elective angiography, PCI, device implantation, Cardioversion and Transoesophageal echocardiography.
Competence to undertake other non-invasive investigations such as stress echo, treadmills, and pacemaker FU including ILR, CRT, ICD and brady devices would be advantageous as would the ability to support cath lab lists for elective angiography, PCI and device implant/explant although this is not a requirement.
Applicants with all levels of experience are welcome to apply however experience within lab work and pacing would be advantageous. We would ask that for full time positions BSE accreditation was in place.
As our team is growing, we will shortly be able to offer support for CPD.
Suitable applicants must have the ability to work under pressure and be able to work well as a part of the team. They will show a willingness to learn to further develop their knowledge and skills.
