Administration Assistant
Clifton Park Hospital, York
25 Hours Per Week
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Outpatient Administration Department where you will work as part of a team providing excellent customer service at our busy out-patient reception desk. Duties will also include making sure that clinics are utilised correctly using a rota to ensure all sessions are accurately reflected on our hospital computer system.

You will work 25 hours per week on a 3 week roster pattern. The hours will range between 8am and 8pm.

Where you\’ll be based:
Clifton Park Hospital opened in 2006 and is located just outside York. The modern purpose built hospital has been rated \’Good\’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and has first-class medical facilities including 24 beds, two theatres, a day case unit, a large outpatient department with X-ray facilities and on-site physiotherapy, including a small gym area. In 2018, the hospital opened a new outpatient department with 11 consulting rooms, two treatment rooms and x-ray facilities.

• An excellent standard of computer literacy to include experience in Word & Excel
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills – written and oral
• An excellent standard of computer literacy to include experience in Word & Excel
• The ability to work within a team
• The ability to time-manage
• Experience using a Patient Administration System (PAS) an advantage
